Hi, I am a female 39 years old and was diagnosed with gout. I always eat a healthy diet, I don t eat any red meat, milk, fried foods or alcohol. Last weekend Friday and Saturday ate out at different restaurants and both days I had fried calamari and also consumed alcohol and had lobster and crab meat. Sunday I had home baked salmon. Monday Night my hands started to itch and got red, then my whole belly and then spread out to my arms and legs. I took Benadryl that night and next morning all my body felt achy and had chills as if I had fever. My whole body had reddish hives even my cheeks were rosy. Later that day every joint in my body hurt. Next day I went to my doctor. Today has been three days and I don t feel much improvement. What else will you suggest?
