Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a watery orangish reddish liquid slight red meaning it s not all red it has like hints of the old orangish reddish stuff in the liquid coming out of my right side nose just like water and it just gets watery and just comes out of nowhere but I also have had a cough for like the last 3 days and I just got a headache
Cough, headache and nasal discharge are symptoms that can occur with allergies or acute upper respiratory tract infection (common cold/flu).
Either of these (allergies or infection) can cause irritation/inflammation of the airway and this can cause bleeding. The blood mixed with the infected mucus is the likely cause of the discharge that you are noticing.
If you are still concerned, however or if it persists after resolution of your other symptoms, then you should be assessed by your doctor.
Treatment would generally consist of the use of anti histamine/decongestants such as zyrtec d, allegra d, claritine d, benadryl d. A topical decongestant may also be helpful as well eg normal saline drops or otrivine
I hope this helps
