Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Reddish Spots Turned Into Bumps On Wrist?
I have 2 spots on the top of my wrist. At first it looked like an abrasion, but on day to redness increased and the spots turned into bumps. Day three, now are small blisters that seem to have clear liquid in them. I had been raking leaves, picking up old rose bush branches, and using paper lawn waste bags. I have never had these kind of spots before. What could it be? Should I see my doctor?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
It could be contact dermatitis where when the skin comes into contact with an irritant or allergen, resulting in an allergic reaction which appears as rash or redness with or without itching forming blisters. You can take oral anti histamines for relief and it is better to consult a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis and receive appropriate treatment.
Treatment may include topical corticosteroids and oral antihistamines depending on the severity of the reaction. It is also important to avoid further exposure to the irritant or allergen to prevent the condition from worsening.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
