What Causes Redness Along With Blotchy Skin On Cheeks?
My cheeks are always red, the redness has more area on one cheek than the other, the shape of the redness has never changed, it is blotchy, and the rest of my face is completely normal, the only red areas are the continuous redness on the cheeks. What is it? I know it isn t Rosacea.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have redness along with blotchy skin on cheeks, Well there can be many reasons for hyper pigmentation like over exposure to sun light , hormonal changes and side effect of medicine. I would suggest you to use apply vitamin E oil at night and use lotion containing glycolic acid and hydroquinone , which are good for treating hyper-pigmentation. I would suggest you to wash your face with mild soap and cold water twice daily and then apply kojic acid cream which is safe and effective . Exfoliate your skin once a week to remove dead skin. If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination. You can go for chemical peeling as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
