What Causes Redness Along With Itching Around Eyes?

I consulted ophthalmologist at the beginning stage when my eye had blurriness and a kind of liquid came out on eyelids, the doctor examined and said everything is normal and gave a eye drop which did not help. Later the itching started till eyebrows and surrounding of eyes becomes red. Which specialist should I consult? My father had COPD does it infect others.

Anesthesiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem mostly around the eyes involving eyebrows and skin. As an ophthalmologist also certified that your eyes are normal, you better consult a dermatologist or skin specialist. And COPD is not at all contagious meaning it doesn't infect others. So your symptoms are not at all, related to COPD. Just relax.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
