What Causes Redness Along With Soreness In Bottom Gums?
Hi. I just recently noticed my front, bottom gums are sore. It is not noticeable unless I actually push on it though. The pain region is not near my teeth and located about a half centimeter below the tooth. I do not have bleeding gums or sensitive teeth. The specific gum region does however look red. Is this something I should get checked out right away?
As per your complain redness and soreness of gums is an indication of infection and inflammation of gums and the condition is known as GINGIVITIS..
The front bottom teeth are the first to get infected as it is the area of the mouth difficult to clean with the brush on the inner side as well as more of the deposits takes place in this area because more food debris and saliva rest here as it is near the floor of the mouth..
You need not to worry as it is nothing serious and you can consult a dentist and get a professional cleaning done. The dentist will prescribe you with gumpaint, mouthwash and antibiotics (if needs),also you can ask him to demonstrate proper brushing technique to avoid further infection in the gums in future and maintain a good oral hygiene..
Warm saline gargles are also helpful..
Hope this information helps..
