What Causes Redness Along With Throbbing Sensation Post Piercing Of Ear?
I got my ear Pierced 3 days ago , and it s really red and I feel it throbbing . It doesn t hurt when I turn my earring but if I move my ear it does. I cleaned it with the liquid stuff that Claire s gives people after a pierced . Nothing comes out of it. It just really red and I feeling it throbbing. Is it infected?

Throbbing pain is suggestive of possible infection. Hence, apart from cleaning the area you may use an ointment like Fucidin plus oral antibiotic like Augmentin 625 mg three times a day for 5 to 6 days to clear the infection and a pain killer to reduce pain.
