General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Haemarthrosis (collection of blood inside joint), synovitis and arthritis should be ruled out in your case. A consultation with orthopedician followed by X ray and MRI of knee if required will be helpful to rule out the condition. Aspiration will be required if there is any blood or fluid collection. NSAIDs and physiotherapy will be helpful also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
