What Causes Redness And Bleeding After Shaving Pubic Area?

when i shave my pubic area, it bleeds after and gets all red bumps. ive tried putting aftershave and creams that are supposed to take away the red bumps but nothing is working. it doesn´t get smooth it just gets very stubbly and bumpy and bleeds right afterwards. any help you can give me?

Thanks for posting in HCM.

I have read your description and understand your concern.

What symptoms you are experiencing appears to be reaction of the skin followed by infection, due to shaving the pubic area.

Kindly do the following to overcome the symptoms.
1. Clean the area with mild antiseptic solution like Povidine-iodine thrice daily.
2. Take Tablet.Levocetrizine once a day for 3 to 5 days.
3. You need to apply Neomycin with Hydrocortizone cream twice daily.
4. Take anti-inflammatory Tablet.Ibuprofen twice daily after food.
5. Apply moisturizing lotion on the affected area at bedtime.
6. Wear loose fitting undergarments and avoid friction in the area.

Maintain clean and proper genital hygiene.

Gradually, the lesions should subside and you should feel better.
