What Causes Redness And Blisters On Cheek, shoulder And Back?
My son , 18 months old, tonight has what looks like red irritations with blisters that goes away but develops elsewhere on his body. It has been on his cheek, shoulder, and now back. The spots are warm to the touch but they don t seem to bother him. Should I be concerned? He has never had this before.
There are different viral infections which can cause rash. Most of these diseases are self limiting. Please check for other symptoms such as cough, fever, reduced activity, decreased feeding. If these symptoms are also present then you would need to get your son evaluated. I also assume you have provided MMR vaccine for your child by now. Hope this helps.
Wishing your child a speedy recovery
