What Causes Redness And Burning Sensation In Eyes After Using Contact Lens?
I am 28 years old height is 5ft and weight is 49 kgs. I use spectacles and have to work most of the time on a computer. I used to wear contact lenses while at work for about 8 hrs at a stretch but after I am going through this problem of the white area of my left eye suddenly becoming red with a little burning sensation, I have quit wearing my contact lenses. I was advised by my Company's inhouse doctor to use Gatilox eye drops and allegra for 5 days. The redness had subsided but it has again recurred. Please help.
you are having computer vision syndrome. staring look at computer and lack of blinking causes dry eye. you can use anti glare specs and can fix antiglaire glass before computer screen. in between take break and go near window look outside blink. lack of blinking causes dry eyes tear film does not spread.apply artificial tear drop 3times daily. this will improve your condition. contact lens also if used for long time causes dry eye.
