What Causes Redness And Swelling In Face Along With Tightness In Chest?

My face has been red, hot and swollen for three days, first day right eye was blood shot, treated it with eye wash. Second and third day eyelids very swollen, face taught and itchy. Today my right arm down to my hand is tingling and my right leg, but I do have tight muscles that can be contributing to this. I am feeling tightness in my right chest and at the same level in my back. I am also a little light headed. I garden daily, clean the chicken coop daily and the day prior to this swelling, I cleaned an out building which involved sweeping field mice poop. I have had a little bit of swelling and redness before, which I attribute to allergies, but it goes away in a day. Never anything like this.

Hello,

This episode also looks similar to skin allergy. You require detail allergen testing to look for it. Antihistaminic drugs will help for sure. Please meet a allergy specialist for the tests.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Deepak Sundriyal, Oncologist
