General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think it might be a case of possible pulled muscle. The stretching was so severe to cause the blood vessels to break out ending up to bruising.

Should apply cold compresses locally. Apply Heparin gel on the bruise area. Raise your foot to help drainage and ease swelling. If still no improvement, should follow up with your caring doctor.

Wish you a fast recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you.
