General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Exercise induced vomiting is often found to be a functional disorder due to improper fluid intake. You daughter should be careful of her fluid intake s, she should stay well hydrated so that her body electrolyte balance is well maintained before any strenuous athletic activity. She should abdominal muscles to relax between exercises. During abdominal exercises putting pressure on the digestive organs may cause intestinal issues, such as diarrhea or stomachaches and vomiting.

Since the legs are getting red during exercises, it may be due to exercise induced vasculitis, leukocytoclastic vasculitis, exercise-induced capillarity, cutaneous vasculitis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, etc. You are suggested to get her clinically examined by a GP, get blood tests, X-ray, USG scans, skin biopsy, etc to detect the type of vasculitis or any other pathology causing her symptoms. Her treatment will depend on the pathology detected & the severity of her symptoms. In the meantime, to ease up symptoms she can take anti emetics and anti diarrheals. She can raise her legs on a stool while sitting, she should avoid vigorous exercises temporarily. Compression stocking may help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
