What Causes Redness In Navel Along With Drainage Of Pus?

Hi, I have a problem in my belly button there is some type of redness and some kind of fluid comes out of it, i dont know what is that can i use betnovate for that? there s one more problem some kind of infection is same on my start of hips between the sarting line and there is also some kind of discharge coming out and there is itchi ness, after itching there is discharge on some blood also. Please kindly reply with your answer that would be really greatful of you. Thankyou

Dear thanks for the question.

Your concerns are true. There is some infection. Pus indicates infection. Most probably it is bacterial infection. You need to take antibiotics (amocacillin 500mg three times a day for three days), antiinflammatory (ibuprofen 600mg) and antibiotic cream (gentamicin) . Betnovate is a steroid ointment, it will not be effective. You complete this treatment, if no relief, go for swab culture and sensitivity test for antibiotics, then change the tablets.
