What Causes Redness In The Eye After Using Carboxymethyl Cellulose Drops?
I had a C3R eye surgery 1.5 years back in both of my eyes. sometimes my right eye turns red. no pain or anything and after sleep or resting it is back to normal I use a eye drop carboxymethyl cellulose sodium eye drops IP to avoid dryness. Is it fine that I use this eye drop regularly. will kerotocounus come back?

Hi,
It is due to an allergic reaction to cellulose eye drops.
Stop using the drops and wash with clean water.
Generally, the symptoms will settle in a couple of days.
If persists better to consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.
