After I shower, I have really bloodshot eyes. I am 61. 5'7" and 180lbs. I had a hip replacement last September. I was diagnosed with stomach lymphoma in Jan of this year. I needed 4 pints of blood. I received radiation treatments until the first week of March. Other than that I am in great health. I am very active and eat very healthy, exercise every day. I never smoked a cigarette.
Redness in the eye after shower is because of hyperemia of conjunctiva on exposure to water. This is normal no need to worry about it. If you want to get rid of redness you can use decongestant eye drops containing phenyl ephrine. Hope the information is helpful to you. Do write to me for any further questions.
Thank you With regards
