What Causes Redness In The Eyes While Having Graves Disease?

I am having a problem with my left eye. Bloodshot, gel like substance collecting on the inside side of the outer of my eye. runny substance. Eye doctor said it was a bad allergy to something. He gave me steroid drops but they have not helped/ Could this be shingles. I do have Graves disease. Connie

The redness in your eyes is not related to the Graves but to allergy. Please follow the instructions as given by your doctor. Keep regular follow up with eye specialist.
