What Causes Redness Of Bladder Wall Post BCG Treatment For Bladder Cancer?
I ve been diagnosed with bladder cancer ,just finished my 6 week bcg.went to the doctor today for cystogram and she saw calcium deposits around where she biopsied and what concerned her most was the redness on my bladder wall .my urine sample was sent off for testing and she will get back to me in a few days .l was hoping to hear of course it was gone and she would see in 6 months for my next bcg treatments.instead I m scared all over again.what do you think thanks vivian
BCG treatment can lead to granuloma formation in the bladder wall. Redness can be due to inflammation in the bladder wall. Biopsy and histopathological examination will determine the changes which have taken place in the bladder wall post BCG treatment.
