What Causes Redness On Ears After Having Antibiotics For Tooth Extraction?

Um Im taking clindamycin for wisdom tooth extraction . Im 6 days in to the antibiotics and my ears are hot and beet red . Along with chills and a wierd fever . Feels different than a normal fever . Ive drank lots of water and eaten some food and taken aspirin . Is there anything else I can do?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms you have adverse reaction with Clindamycin and all the symptoms are due to adverse reaction.
You should immediately stop taking Clindamycin and consult your treating dentist and get the antibiotic replaced with other antibiotics..

You will also be advised to take anti-allergic medications like Cetrizine or fexofenadine [allegra] for reducing the allergy symptoms..
You can also take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen for reducing inflammation..
