Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Redness On The Cheeks And Nose After Using Porcelana Cream?
I used Porecelana (Skin whitening Cream) for 2 nights in a row. I applied it on my face hoping to get an even skin tone. However, I woke up today and I had redness on my cheeks and nose. My nose is also VERY shiny and oily looking. And there are a lot of little bumps all over my face where I applied the cream. Is this temporary? How long will it last? I have felt so insecure all day walking around like this. My makeup looks so patchy and doesn t glide on smoothly because of the bumps. Thanks so much for your time!
As per your query you have symptoms of redness on the cheeks and nose after using Porcelana cream which occurs due to allergic reaction due to one of the ingredient. Need not to worry. Wash these areas with mild soap and cold water twice a day. You should apply aloe vera gel and apply cold compresses. If the condition doesn't improve in a month then consult a dermatologist for proper evaluation. The doctor may prescribe hydroquinone cream, retinoids and immunosuppressants. Avoid going in sunlight as it can increase your symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
