What Causes Redness, Peeling Skin And Blisters Around The Eyes?

I am taking 20 mg of tamoxifen daily and I started to have redness, peeling skin and blistering around my eyes on the eyelid area. My paperwork that came with this said I could have this happen. I ve been on this med for about 2 years. Is there anything that I can do for my eyes to keep them from peeling around them?

Anesthesiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Dryness hot flashes can occur with Tamoxifen. But added stress off continuous strain on eyes is the cause.

Try to use some eye lubricant drops as frequently as possible. Blink your eyes, direct your gaze farther in between your work.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
