General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
Yellowish and thin semen can be caused by several factors, including dehydration, infections, and certain medications. It is important to note that the color and consistency of semen can vary from person to person, and it is not necessarily a cause for concern unless it is accompanied by other symptoms such as pain or discomfort.
However, if you are experiencing any pain or discomfort during ejaculation or have concerns about your fertility, speak with a healthcare provider. It is also important to practice healthy habits, such as staying hydrated and avoiding risky sexual behaviors, to maintain your overall reproductive health.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
