What Causes Reduced Blood Pressure And Neck Pain While On Lisinopril And Diuretic?

I am on Lisiniprol 20mg and a water pill 12.5 and in the evening my blood pressure goes down so bad to 96/68 and pulse is 105. I get really tired and have pain in the back of my neck. Then after I sit down for awhile the pain goes away and my blood pressure went back up to 118/105 pulse 101. What is going on with me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that your medication may be higher than you need since your blood pressure is dropping too low.
Low blood pressures would cause the heart rate to increase in response.

Your doctor would need to consider discontinuing one of your medications and monitoring your response.

I hope this helps
