What Causes Reduced Blood Sugar Level After Starting Suboxone?

Hi a person in my family is type one diabetic humalog and lantus. He just started suboxone and is having low blood sugar issues. He can t keep it up and keeps going below 50 s. is this a side effect?? I have tried to find information but I can t find any related ifo. Can you shed some light on this?
