General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
You should have mentioned your other details like age, weight and history of other symptoms if any.
Menstrual cycle is regulated by several hormones like estrogen, progesteron, etc. Many a times, altered levels of these hormones may lead scanty or heavy bleeding during menstruation.
If you have scanty menstruation for the first time and don't have any other symptoms, then probably there is nothing to worry as your normal menstruation is expected to resume in one or two cycles.
Hope this will be helpful.
Take care.
