What Causes Reduction In Blood Pressure After Having Pain Shot?
I had a pain shot in my spine a week ago. Since then my blood pressure has been going down. Before the shot I was not sleeping at night. Now I am sleeping all night. Could this be the problem? My doctor has me to cut my blood pressure pill (Benicar) 40 to 20 mg
Hello , Welcome to healthcaremagic.com and thanks for sharing your concern with us . This is not a problem and should be considered normal . BP is very dynamic in nature if you have severe pain , discomfort , stress so it can rise , if you are relaxed then it can drop . As your sleep pattern also have improved , so it ll also help in stabilizing your BP. So there is nothing abnormal . Continue with your blood pressure medication as prescribed . Best Regards, DR.S.TOMAR
