Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Since a few days, I am experiencing reeling of head. It started all of a sudden when I tried to get up from the bed in the morning. I have both lumbar and cervical spondylosis (or is it spondylitis?) and since the last five months, my working hours, mostly in front of computer, have gone up to 13-14 hrs from 10-11 hrs. Is this due to life style change or some more serious reasons?
Understanding your concern. As per your query reeling of the head frequently can occur due to many reasons like middle ear infection , Meniere's disease .It can also occur due to reasons you mention in query like cervical spondylosis . You should not ignore this , because sometimes the condition get complicated. i would suggest you to start with antibiotics, steroids , labrynthine sedatives for 5 to 7 weeks and consultation with doctor. you should go for vestibular rehabilitation exercises.
