What Causes Regurgitation Of Food Post Trauma To Ribs?
Recently had trauma to ribs and tailbone. Having a lot of pain. Visited a doc. No bloody voiding. Hungry often but after a couple bites it's almost like the food wants to regurgitate. What other symptoms would I have if I damaged some part of my GI tract and is that possible?
Thanks for your query Post prandial vomiting or regurgitation after a traumatic event may be due to Firstly you have minor trauma also over stomach, that can cause regurgitation when you loaded it with food It may also be due to trauma over back bone resulting nerves related pathology Stress after a trauma can result in excessive acid secretion may result in GERD. Injury over head can also cause this but it is less likely as per your history.
You should have atleast UGI endoscopy if it continues.,till you should take antispasmodic ,antacids like PAN-IT .
HAVE A GOOD DAY
