What Causes Regurgitation Of Milk By An Infant?

Hi, My baby girl is one month 5 days old and she is spitting thick milk from the mouth and nose both and the thick milk get stuck in the throat and in nose and she can t breath. Whenever this happens I clear her nose by nasoclear saline drops. I have to keep an eye on her 24X7. Doctor advised 0.4 ml domstal suspension twice a day and syrup rantac 0.5 ml twice a day. I have started this medicine from today and just wanted to know that is this medicine is safe and will it help in reflux? And when my baby will completely be fine? Please advice. Regards Sabina

From your history its clear that your baby is having Gastro esophageal reflux disorder simply Reflux as you mentioned..

Its some problem with digestive system where your babys stomach acidic content thrown up into throat causing vomiting of food..
And your medication Rantac can deacrease acidity of stomach content and domstal prevents reflux and they are totally safe drugs..

Finally you need not worry as 95% of babys with Reflux xome out of it before their first birth day...

So continue with medication, be happy and enjoy your parenthood..
