Hi.. My daughter is 8 months old.. In the last two months she has had stomach infections thrice.. First time with Rota virus, second time with some bacteria and now again she has been passing loose motions for the 4th day now.. She is now on Syrup Of and Econorm powder medicine. She has not put on weight in the past month and she has lost 200 gms in the past 4 days. Why the infections keeps coming? ( I keep everything of hers very clean). She is only on breastmilk and homemade rice porridge. Is it ok to give her Sweet lime juice when she is not well? (she doesn t seem to want any electral) Is it ok to give her vegetables (carrots?, apples?). she right now weighs 8.4kgs. Should i switch to a formula milk in addition to breast milk? Praveena
