What Causes Respiratory Tract Infection Along UTI?

I recently had some virus bacterial infection in respiratory track during the time I started bleeding and clots coming out like a period...very very heavy. When i went to ER the tested me and found UTI and BV. They prescribed 4 pills for the BV that I took immediately and a full cycle of sulfa meth 160 mg. Are all of these items related? or did i just have a really bad week?

Hello,

Urinary tract infection may need treatment because it is somehow challenging, it needs proper line of treatment, and both upper respiratory tract infection and UTI cannot treat with single drug but upper respiratory tract infection could be allergic condition or viral infection and it may not needs any treatment ideally urinary tract infection best can be treated if the urine sent for culture sensitivity test, heavy menstrual bleeding could be due to hormone changes, and it is nothing to worry if not lasting long.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Husain
