What Causes Restlessness, Breathing Problem, Poor Appetite And Depression?
Its has been a little hard for me to relax and breath. I have also been having trouble eating and drinking. There are times where I feel that I do not have any control over my body and I feel like I am about to die. Can you help me figure out what is going on with me? I sounds like anxiety but I am not sure so please help.
The symptoms you describe can be explained with anxiety. It is important that you check your TSH to rule out thyroid problems at first and then if this is normal you will need to take treatment for anxiety. The best drugs to use for anxiety are SSRI drugs like citalopram or sertraline which your doctor may prescribe for you. You will need regular follow ups with your doctor and also some psychotherapy might help as well.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
