Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Restricted Ankle Movement After An Injury?
I slipped on leaves in the lot at work on Wednesday. Fell to the ground. Twisted or rolled right ankle. Not sure it happens so fast. Mid to small toe pain is gone. Feels like I cannot fully flex ankle. Beginning this morning having mid to severe pain going up into mid to right side of right shin. Pulled muscle?
As a physician I would like to tell you that muscle strain usually follows injury due to fall. I would suggest that you should take Tab Zerodol-MR and Tab Enzoflam. Give leg a good rest and do not put much weight on the ankle. I would also like to tell you that if you continue to experience pain after 5 days, you should consult with your physician for a clinical evaluation of your ankle.
Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question.
Regards, Dr. Abhijeet
