What Causes Restricted Movement In The Hip Post Injury?

I had a fractured hip from a car accident when I was 19 years old, now at 55 it is fused and actually does not bother me. However, my L hip is causing me pain and am noticing some restricted motion and pain. Is it possible that someone get along with both hips fused ?

Hello,

You should get imaging of the hip done to see where the problem is. Both accident and ageing process can cause wear and tear of the hip joint.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Harshita, Ophthalmologist
