I had a cataract surgery on 8th January 2014, however I am unable to see clearly. The vision is very hazy. I was told by another eye surgeon that the retina of the operated eye is swollen and hence the hazy vision. Could I know how this might have happened ?? Is it possible that the ultrasound used to breakdown the natural lens of the eye could have penetrated and damaged the retina ??
No there aee any cause for post.surgery edema... But I don't think you need to worry abt it as it is self resolving in 6 weeks if not.it can be very well treated by proper medicaments... You just need to consult VITREO RETINA SURGEON for better outcome... N maintain regular follow up till end...
