What Causes Retractile Testicles?

I am 50 years of age I am overweight and I have Lymphedema and venous insufficiency. Practically overnight my testicals have shifted from behind my penis , to the side of my left leg. This was extremely alarming . What is causing this , my weight? Lymphedema or worse. Do I need to see a urologist?
