Hello Sir, Retrograde ejaculation in diabetes occurs mainly when there is a poor glycemic control. I would recommend my patient to undergo glycemic tests and get the blood glucose levels under control. Having a tight glycemic control goes a long way in reducing or avoiding many problems including retrograde ejaculation. For retrograde ejaculation, some medicines like pseudoephedrine or imipramine or both are effective in certain patients. If having kids is your main concern, you can talk to your urologist about artificial insemination. There are methods to collect semen even when a person is having retrograde ejaculation.
