What Causes Right Knee Pain Radiating Towards Patella While Having Crepitus?
I have a burning, knife-like pain In my right knee when I kneel on a hard floor surface .This pain is located in the upper lateral area of the patella. When I am not kneeling the same area is tender to touch. I can bend my knee with no pain just as long as I do not kneel on the flor. I do have crepitus in my knee when I extend it.
thank you for providing the brief history of you. As you mentioned your symptoms of crepitus and knife like pain in right knee, the first thing is assured that the muscles of the knee joint are weak. So they need to be strengthened. Now for finding the cause for it, a thorough orthopedic assessment is needed to find out with some special clinical tests. post which an MRI reference will be taken to confirm the diagnosis and the extent of the soft tissue injury too.
To understand further what can be done to get help, is the physical therapy . By therapeutic Ultrasound therapy and TENS therapy the inflammation and pain levels are reduced and later exercises are recommended to strengthen the lower limb muscles .
I hope to see you recover soon.
