What Causes Right Sided Abdominal Pain While Taking Deep Breaths?
I HAVE A SHARP STABBING PAIN WHEN I TAKE A DEEP BREATH ON MY RIGHT HAND SIDE. IT IS THE LOWER PART OF MY RIB CAGE AT THE BACK AND SIDE/FRONT. I HAD A SECOND EMERGENCY C SECTIION LAST WEEK (FIRST ONE WAS AUG 2007) AND THE SURGEON SAID THERE WERE LOTS OF ADHESIONS I M NOT SURE IF THIS CAN BE RELATED. THE C SECTION WAS PERFORMED DUE TO AN INFECTION OCCURING AFTER MY WATERS HAD BEEN BROKEN. IVE FINISHED THE COURSE OF ANTIBIOTOICS.

Sounds reactionary involvement of right side lower lobe of the lung through underlying intra abdomen infection.
Or it may be residual intra abdomen infection affecting the liver or bile drainage system to give such symptoms.
A CT scan of the abdomen & pelvis with x-ray chest would suffice significant for the definite cure. I would like to assist further at any time.
