Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Right-sided Burning Sensation In My Pelvic Area?
Had a hysterectomy in February was still having pains after my six week check up , from not be able to walk more than 30 mins to a sharp burning sensation my right side in my pelvic area and now sharp prick pains that comes and goes and it feels like my leg is heavy when I walk
Burning pain in the right side of the pelvic area can indicate several conditions but mostly are related to kidney infections. I suggest to do a urine test and a pelvic ultrasound for further evaluation. Meanwhile, I suggest using a spasmolytic to relieve the pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
