hi, i am 31 yr old, from last two days i am having head ache on right side. specially upper side of chick and upper side of eyebrows. i have to take tablet to ease of this pain. ( i am taking crocin- paracetamol ). but i am not sure pain is due to sinus or migraine pain, as sometimes behind ear also, i feel the pain.
There are a number of problems that can cause referred pain to the ear and head. When you see your doctor he/she should look at your teeth and any dental problems on the right side may cause referred pain.
The joint between your temple and mandible called the TM Joint may be inflamed and referring pain. Your doctor would also examine your ears. An x-ray of your sinuses may show an air fluid level on the right that may need to be drained. Ensure you are well hydrated and try to keep your stress levels low.
You may try a combination of simple paracetamol and ibuprofen for example 3 times a day. These are available over the counter. Your doctor may step up this medication recommendation when he/she sees you, as necessary.
Hope you find this helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards, Dr Raboobee
