What Causes Right Sided Pain In Lower Abdomen Upon Walking?
Hello, I am having pain on my right side close to my waist. Seems sharp @ times. I ve also had an episode of diarrhea. The pain is worst when I stand and walk. I have to walk bend over as this makes it not hurt as bad. On a scale of 1 to 10 its like a 5. My email is; YYYY@YYYY
Hello. Thanks for writing to HÇM. Pain in abdomen can be caused by various reason. As u had a history of diarrhea so it can be due to g.I. infection and g.I. pain is typically crampy pain coming like a shootup. If its associated with burning micturition than it can be due to urinary tract infection. I suggest u to take a pain killer lije mefenamic acid or hyoscine for 5 days and along with that an antibiotic like ofloxacin or metronidazole can be taken. If it doesn't resolve an ultrasound is advisable. Thanks I hope my answer will be helpful to u.
