Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Right-sided Pain In Stomach, Constipation And Burning Sensation In Abdomen?
I have pain in my right side for several months. Pain started as dull and achy. In past few days, pain is becoming more intense along with constipation and burning sensation in my middle abdomen. I also feel like I am running a low grade fever and constantly very cold on the inside.
Pain in the abdomen since several months is to be evaluated. A few probable causes could be appendicitis, renal calculus, irritable bowel disease, diverticulitis, cholecystitis, Crohn's disease, gastroenteritis or biliary colic.
Appendicitis will have rebound pain, tenderness and nausea and vomiting. Renal calculus will have colicky pain episodic. A specific diagnosis can be made by detailed history, thorough clinical examination and any diagnostic tests. I advise you to ease consult a surgeon for appropriate treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
