What Causes Right-sided Pain In The Stomach And Hip Bone While On Tecfidera?

Hi, I have been on Tecfidera for four months now for, I was diagnosed with MS in March. I had pain in my side throughout the night and as the day went on the pain got much worse on my right lower side of stomach, right above my hip bone, on a scale one to ten I would have to say a 10 and a half, I was driving and had to pull to the side of the road where I started to get light headed from all the pain, I started to vomit, more like dry heaves. I called my primary Doctor and they said to get to the ER, but soon after when I got myself home it eased up , I never thought it had to do with my meds until I just read now that Tecfidera can do this , I am now worried about destroying my liver being on this pill and I don t know if I should keep taking it,

Consult plans get an ultrasound scan done. As of now, you can take analgesics like Tramadol for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
