What Causes Right-sided Pain Under The Rib Area?
I have had pain in right side under my rib area, the pain would be a sharp stabbing pain. Now I have pain plus a numb feeling to the area. The pain is consistent but ranges from dull burning to sharp stabbing. What should I do. Went to er the did chest x-ray and EKG. All was fine...

I suspect more of a neurological issue which is why I recommend a visit to your neurologist. At the same time, anxiety can also be a cause for such an occurrence. First priority should be given to nerve entrapment or compression, followed by anxiety, etc.
