What Causes Right Sided Tenderness In The Temple Area Of An Elderly Person?
My 86 year old mother just called and said that she has tenderness in the temple area on her right side. She said that it started yesterday. There have been a few times since then that she has had some pain in the area. She said that she has had a similar thing in the past but on her left side. She has a doctor s appointment on Thursday with her primary care doctor. Does she need to do something before then? What are some possible diagnosis?

Regarding your mother experience with right sided tenderness around the skull I will suggest one of the following
Cerebral hemorrhage
Cerebral trauma
Cerebral vasculitis
In view of this please let her do a CT scan and see a neurologist specialist for expert clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
