I have a TSH of 6.09. I can t gain weight and I have horrible insomnia. I am experiencing ringing in my ears and very dizzy. My brain is literally ON constantly. Can t go off to sleep without sleeping pills. Should I go to the ER? I feel like I m slowly dying.

Dear friend,I have gone through your case history very carefully.as far as your TSH report is concerned you have a high TSH which implies you have hypothyroid condition.in that case you take Tab Thyroxin under the guidance of your GP.but for your other symptoms like ringing in ear, sleepless condition you should see a psychiatrist for necessary medicines to cool down your mind.because I believe, all this symptoms are due to psychosomatic reason.so,to get yourself properly checked you can go to ER.i sincerely believe ,with proper dose of medication you will be able to lead a healthy and productive life in near future.my best wishes for you.thank you.thank you.
