What Causes Ringing In Ears And Trouble In Hearing After Having Cold?
A couple months ago I got a bad head cold, finally I got over it but at the very last it settled in my ear and sense then have been having trouble hearing and also there is a ringing in my ear. have had two (2) does of oral antibiotics and they did not seem to solve the problem. am ready to search out an audiologist and see what is the problem. Any suggestions would be helpful.

as mentioned you have tinnitus with decreased hearing since few months. tinictus occurs due to pathology in vestibular apparatus like otosclerosis ,meniers disease, schwanoma ; ear canal blockage with wax, tumor , foreign bodies; drug use like aspirin, quinine ,aminoglycocide etc; age relate;..........;etc
so in your case it may be due to any of these more probable drug or vestibule pathology . But in any case you need to get it diagnosed and treated accordingly.Kindly visit ENT clinic for further management
