What Causes Ringing In Ears While Suffering From COPD And Aortic Valve Stenosis?
My Dad, 81, has many medical issues.A thinning aortic valve and the other valve won t close properly so it leaks, copd, and an enlarged prostate. He s on quite a few medications. 2 days ago his right ear started ringing, sometimes so loudly it hurts. What in your opinion do you think could be the cause?Thank you very much.
Tinnitus (ringing of ears) can be because of many reasons . One usually experiences tinnitus in case of respiratory tract infection , usually when nose is blocked. Also tinnitus can be due to high blood pressure. As your father's condition is related to respiratory tract infection and blood pressure (assuming that he has high blood pressure) , tinnitus can be because of one of these two reasons.
